PCSI installs a textured finish made with small natural marble stones. This textured finish creates a slip-resistant flooring. In some applications, such as in a commercial kitchen, an additional grit is added to the glaze coat giving it added slip resistance.

Enhanced Traction and Wear Performance

Designed for commercial or residential areas that require an extra measure of safety, PCSI’s non-slip flooring provides dynamic underfoot traction, activating when compressed to supply sure-grip texture underfoot with high stain resistance and an easy-to-clean surface.

Restaurant and food service floors are often coated in grease and oil, making them prone to causing slip and fall accidents. PCSI’s coarse, non-slip additive will give your kitchen epoxy flooring an extremely aggressive finish. With this extra texture, coupled with proper cleaning, even a greasy kitchen floor can maintain slip resistance.

PCSI provides a uniform, resin-rich, troweled-on system that forms a physical bond between the material and the surface it is being applied to and vulcanizes them together. The result is an unbroken, continuous surface that is non-porous, waterproof, self-containing.

When installing a non-slip textured surface in frequently wet areas, you can add PCSI’s non-slip additive to the glaze coat to give the floor a sandpaper-like finish. This gives excellent slip and fall protection, even under wet conditions.

Reasons to Specify a Non-Skid Surface
• Dynamic underfoot safety – aluminum oxide, quartz, and silicon carbide minerals provide a slip-retardant surface

• Through-traction/pattern and through-color provide even wear and consistent appearance for the life of the floor

• Easy to clean with minimal operational disruption – no sealing, buffing, stripping, polishing or restorative maintenance required

• Wear layer resists stains, chemicals and damage from alcohol-based hand sanitizers
• Manufactured to PCSI’s Flooring’s Superior Standard of Quality
